The Power Color R9600 was the best performing of all the RADEON 9600 PRO-based cards, and managed an almost identical overall score to the Labs Winning X-Micro GeForce 5600. With half the amount of RAM of many other cards in this Labs, the R9600 performed extremely well, even returning a higher score than the PowerColor 9800 PRO in the CodeCreatures stress test.
Lean on the software side but reasonably priced, this would be a great choice for gamers with a sensible budget or as an upgrade card for an older system. Overall the X-Micro just has the edge though.
