Auriga's offering to the 9800 PRO market returned rather inconsistent results. Despite topping the 3DMark2001SE Pro figures, and reaching a very impressive 19,363 3DMarks, it struggled in higher resolution synthetic benchmarking, dropping several places to sit around the middle of the pack.
Even so, it comes in at under $700, making it the cheapest submitted RADEON 9800 PRO in this Labs. This card would make for an ideal gaming experience without having to fork out copious amounts of cash. It's a little lean in the software department, but above average value for a RADEON 9800 PRO.
