The Flatron 1710B scores well at specifications thanks to its video and USB connectors: its performance in the clarity tests was excellent, despite the smaller viewing angles.

The Flatron 1710B presents a small bezel, plus a design supporting swivel, which creates an illusion of a suspended screen. The monitor is somewhat awkward to transport and the base looks cheap. It is matched for overall performance by the Albatron L17AS.
