This is our first listen to the Elan II, and we're impressed. The set feels classier than its cheaper stablemate, the One Elite. The Elan II is easy to use and has all the detail and naturalness of the Elite, but adds even more refinement to the presentation. Newscasters sound full-bodied while music bounds along with plenty of enthusiasm. Importantly, the top-end remains smooth, even when provoked by compressed transmissions; unfortunately there are many around.
