Leadtek has been a well-known brand for a very long time, with a reputation based on solid 3D graphics solutions, often at cheaper prices. The same can be said in the case of the WinFast Titanium 500 TD, featuring the ultra-fast GeForce3 Ti 500 graphics chipset. Among the contenders this month, the Titanium 500 TD matches the other cards in its class, in terms of features and performance.
Apart from the standard D-Sub output, the Titanium 500 TD also possesses a DVI connector and TV-out. It also comes with a reasonable bundle of software, including a couple of game titles and utilities. As you can see in the graphs, this card is no slouch. In fact, it topped the Quake III: Arena High Quality 1,600 benchmark, along with the impressive ASUS Ti 500 model, scoring a very playable 57.3fps.
The best thing about the Leadtek card is that you have a card that equals its rivals when it comes to quality and reliability, but it comes with a significantly cheaper price tag. While $785 is still a sizeable sum, especially when compared to what you used to pay for the top graphics solutions not long ago, in the current market the price is a bargain - over $200 dollars cheaper than its competitors carrying the same specifications.
