Gigabyte is much better known as a manufacturer of motherboards than it is 3D graphics cards. It has, however, tried its hand with reasonable success - in the consumer graphics market, and the GF-3200TF is its latest offering.
You will notice, when taking a cursory glance at the performance graphs, that most of the cards fall neatly into their respective category, and the Gigabyte is no exception. Although it was the slowest of the GeForce3 Ti 200-based cards, the composite score of 2.52 is only 0.03 behind the fastest Ti 200 card by MSI. With a solid 84.2fps in Q3A High Quality 1,024, and a similarly great result in 3DMark2001 Pro of 6,235, no-one has any right to complain about this card.
With the latest GeForce3 Titanium features - Shadow Buffers and 3D Textures - along with Pixel and Vertex Shaders, the Gigabyte is able to take advantage of the latest graphical features developers are capable of integrating into their games. The GF-3200TF is a fully featured card, with DVI, TV-out and a massive games bundle that includes first-rate titles such as Serious Sam and Motocross Madness. With excellent performance and features, the GF-3200TF only just misses out on the Value Award, but is a great option.
