The squarish, brick-like appearance may look like an uninspired design to some, but just picking it up will reveal the superior build quality of the L365 over any other screen in the Labs.
Sitting on your desk, the L365 is a bright, stable looking screen, which performed well in our DisplayMate tests. Greyscales and colour tests are a high point and easily give the Philips 150P2E a run for its money, but unfortunately contrast and streaking tests revealed room for improvement. Like the Samsung 560V and IBM T560 screens, mechanical deviation was a let down and further prevented the L365 from producing a great overall image result to compete with such a tight performing group.
On the features front, the L365 has analog, DVI and audio input with an excellent, if not the best, OSD system. Although it doesnt offer the wide array of options seen in the Neovo M-15V, these features, combined with one of the best horizontal viewing angles and excellent build quality, lifts the feature score and allows the L365 an honourable mention.
The only thing holding this screen back from an award is the relatively high price, but if you want a sturdy screen that looks great, the L365 is a reasonable choice.
