The Belkin netbook bag holds laptops up to 12.1in, and is designed with space in mind. It looks like a standard messenger bag in styling and size.
Black is a nice safe colour, and the red trim adds a striking tone to what could otherwise be quite a bland bag. Inside, everything is red.
A large zipper opens up to an almost full 180 for the interior. There's a 1cm padded sleeve for a laptop at the rear, with a paper sleeve built in.
There's space, too, for a power cable and accessories. The two pen slots and a range of slide-in slots are not entirely usable - things are prone to falling out. A front pocket fits a media player, and there's a sideways pocket for additional storage.
The carry handle is inadequate - too flimsy and it doesn't feel entirely secure - and the baggage strap doesn't extend as far as we'd like.
A Velcro paper pocket at the back rounds out the available storage. It's practical, and the strap is the only real downside.
