The pricing indicated above is available through the Australian Carbonite Online Backup website at http://www.carbonite.com.au . If you purchase through the US website, the cost will be about $76.70 at the current exchange rate.

I have a nagging doubt about "Sky" storage/backups. There is no way that anything that is not available off line is truely convenient or "safe".
We live in a world that is so interdependant on everything operating "correctly" that it is scary.
Just look at what has just happened in the Banking industry. It's like a "house of cards". It's OK while everything is working to plan, but if it doesn't, it all collapses. Now, say you become so relient on "Sky" storage/backups and the network goes down, or the company that runs it's bit of "Sky" goes belly up, what happens then??? Well, if you were sensible and had made "hard copies"/backups that were available off line, then you are laughing. If not, you are paddling up that excretia canal in that razor wire vessel.
So, if you have to "insure" yourself with "hard copies" and backups, what is the need for "sky". OK, it's an extra layer, but who it THAT paranoid/pedantic?
Cheers
