"Summary of the "GA-EP35C-DS3R""

Pros:
*DDR-3 and DDR-2 ram slot's
*8 sata plug's
*fast and reliable
*Suports Intel core 2 and Quad core proceccer's

Cons:
*There is only 1 PCI-E Slot
*No fire wire
*No wireless
The board is good and reliable and fast,Its good for games and music listing"digtal sound card/OPTICAL" and its a plus with the DDR-3 and DDR-2, there is one down side, it only has 1 PCI-E. There is plenty of sata plugs on the board/MULTI HARD DRIVES.

Over all it is a good mother board for the price and it is worth buying.

It was a nice motherboard in its day, but unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) the P35 chipset has been succeeded by the P45.

And yes, I realise that this review is from an old issue. :)

Still a nice choice though if you don't want/need PCI-E 2, and the reviews of the P45 demonstrate very little (if any) performance difference between the P45 and P35 chipsets. Can be bought for under $110 at some online retailers too...bear in mind that these and the P45 will be superseded shortly with the release of the i7 CPU.
