More power, a little noisy and less watts.

The Gigabyte Odin GT 550W gives you a slightly more powerful modular package right now for the same money as the Enermax Modu82+ 525W, although its four +12V rails are only rated at 18A.

Enthusiasts will appreciate Gigabyte’s unique USB connection, which allows you to monitor temperature, fan speed and power flow in software. Under heavy loads, the Odin GT is relatively noisy, but it got no warmer than 33°C.

Efficiency averaged at 83.6%, with scores nearing 85% at loads of around 300W, where PCs spend most of their time, so it’s a great choice for the more technical hobbyist who doesn’t demand all the watts in the world.
