Dell has been quick to embrace the emerging EPEAT environmental standards, with their Optiplex desktop system scoring the coveted gold rating.
Dell’s Optiplex 755 system has scored a gold in the EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) rating, a new set of standards for environmental production of hardware.
The Optiplex is Energy Star 4.0 compliant and according to Dell, its factory shipped EnergySmart power settings can help lower energy costs by up to 78 percent.
