Fans of brand new operating systems and crusty old retailers will likely find this a once in a lifetime opportunity. The rest of us, though, are likely merely bemused, as Harvey Norman has announced that Gerry Harvey himself will be selling "one of the world's first copies of Windows 8."
The stunt will be taking place at teh Alexandria, Sydney, Harvey Norman @ Domayne, at midnight tomorrow night.
The lucky first customer, Harvey, and Ben McIntosh, General Manager of Tech and Entertainment for Harvey Norman, will then be on hand for media interviews.
That's a beat I am glad to not be on.
