In news that's certainly making me feel a little old, Kingston has started announcing plans for the tenth anniversary of its HyperX gaming brand.
Ten years? Crikey!
Anyway, as part of the big silicon love-fest, Kingston's hosting a big, online Starcraft II tournament. Registration's open now and closes on the 27th of September, with the competition itself starting on October 1 and running until November 30.
The finals will then be held, live, during CES in Las Vegas (Vegas, baby - yeah!), with eight players getting through from the qualifiers, and a sneaky eight more pro-gamers seeded in to make a field of 16. The final winner will walk away with the title of HyperX champion, and a sweet $7,000, while second place gets $4,500, third $2,500, and fourth $1,000.
