EA and BioWare have announced that a third game in the Dragon Age series will hit the shelves in late 2013. Dragon Age 3: Inquisition will be built on a new engine, based on the Frostbite 2 technology used by Battlefield 3.
EA says that the game has already been in development for almost two years, and that player feedback from the past two games will inform the direction it takes - which suggests the hate that Dragon Age 2 received will see... some impact on this new title. It promises "a great story with choices that matter, a massive world to explore, deep customization and combat that is both tactical and visceral".
No screenshots or details as to which platforms Dragon Age 3 will be available on have been released as yet.
