Nexus 7 3G on the way

Nexus 7 3G on the way

A 3G version of the Google Nexus 7 will reportedly be joining the current Wi-Fi-only offering.

Google's Nexus 7 3G tablet might be coming sooner than you think, according to MoDaCo's "very well placed source."

Mocado's source reports that the 3G-equipped tablet will be released within the next six weeks – around the same time-frame time in which Apple's 7-inch iPad Mini is expected to appear. Coincidence – or does Google know something we don't?

Don't expect any hardware changes apart from the addition of a 3G chip, but expect to pay a few more quid than you would for the Wi-Fi-only Nexus 7. After all, 3G goodness doesn't usually come cheap.
