Select members of the press have received invites from Microsoft and Nokia have to a New York event on September 5th. The invitation is more of a teaser than a true reveal as to the nature of the event, but it seems highly unlikely to us that it won't involve one of either Windows Phone and Nokia’s Lumia smartphone range and - presumably - both.
If we're speculating, we'd have to gues that this will be where Nokia will reveal its new line of Windows Phone 8-compatible Lumias. The date certainly fits in with other rumours we've heard recently - on the hardware side at least. Whether MS are willing to show off any builds of the its new OS varient so far ahead of its project launch remain to be seen.
