Sleeping Dogs PC requirements released

Sleeping Dogs PC requirements released

The PC specs you'll need to get the most from crime epic Sleeping Dogs have been released - along with news of PC features that are pretty sweet!

While Ubi can't release a game on console and PC at the same time, it seems it's not a problem for the makers of Sleeping Dogs. In fact, I'm reviewing the game right now, so I can say categorically that the Hong Kong crime drama is very much on track.

Publisher Square Enix has just released the PC requirements, too, as well as details of some of the PC specific features that game's sporting.

It's great to see a cross-platform game get a lot of attention on the PC, and Sleeping Dogs features high-res textures, increased object detail and view distance, better shadow textures and filters, and support for SSAO. The game's also optimised for quad core processors, SLI and CrossFire, and 3D and multi-monitor setups. The game supports DX11 and 64-bit operating systems, and even has a pretty handy benchmark mode.

And it really does make the game look great, though we can't say more until we're allowed to publish our review on Wednesday morning. For now, though, see how your PC measures up against these specs.
