Can you believe Counter-Strike is 12 years old?
I can remember first release of the game, all those years ago. It was rough - and still had a lot of Half Life art assets - but it was truly revolutionary. It's safe to say that mod changed PC gaming, more or less for the better. And it gave some big names their start in the industry, to boot.
And now, the latest iteration, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is about to go live. It releases on Steam on August 22, and pre-orders have gone live today. By pre-ordering, you get the game soon as possible, and save ten per cent on the very humble asking price.
12 years? Really? Damn...
