For those a bit late to the party, the next Bond film - the 23rd official one is called Skyfall, which already makes it a superior film to Quantum of Solace. The full official trailer has finally launched revealing a little of the plot and some impressive visuals.
It appears Mi6 agents around the globe have been compromised after a theft of data from M (still being magnificently played by Dame Judy Dench) and Bond has, once again, faked his own death. Oh and we actually get some conversations between Bond and the new Q, plus a small reminder that Q always stood for Quartermaster, something Bond geeks have been yelling out in pub trivia for years. Which means we can expect a small return to the cool tech of yesteryear.
The trailers also get us a first look at Javier Bardem's villain Silva – who seems to be channeling a dash of No Country for Old Men's Chigurh by way of a comedy creepy uncle from a 1970s British sitcom.
As we said there are two trailers - one for international audiences and one specially for Americans because... we're not sure. Maybe too many references to England confuses them?
