The ongoing Apple v Samsung legal stoush has resulted in an particularly interesting reveal: Samsung has two Windows Phone 8 smartphones on the cards – currently codenamed Odyssey and Marco.
The Odyssey is the larger of the pair, sporting a 4.65in HD Super AMOLED display with an 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and NFC functions.
The Marco, on the other hand, uses a 4in WVGA Super AMOLED display, a 5MP camera and 2MP front camera.

More importantly both the handsets will use the 1.5GHz, dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor. This is the reference chipset that Microsoft has used to test Windows Phone 8 capabilities.
The two phones are said to be landing in late 2012 but will the offerings from the creator of the Galaxy SIII be enough to bring users around to the idea of Windows Phone 8?
