Every year we promise ourselves not to spend too much money on Steam sales, and every year we ignore that promise. There have been some great bargains during the past week, but the sale is set to end tonight.
That means the last chance to grab any of the multi game packs that are only available during the sale, as well as todays and for a short time yesterday’s bargains. Todays include such gems as the indie action rpg Bastion and a games pack from Tim Schafer’s Double Fine games , while from yesterday’s bunch we heartily recommend Quantum Conundrum, a first person puzzler from Portal developer Kim Swift, and the game needed to run Day Z, the hottest mod of the moment, ARMA II Combined Operations.
Once today’s sale wraps up its back to business as usual for Steam, with the next big event set to drop around Halloween in conjunction with the annual US retail sales. You can check out the current bargains through the steam client or the official website.
