After initial excitement in the series, I've always felt that Assassin's Creed has never quite lived up to its promise. I couldn't tell you quite why, as on paper, a game that casts you as an assassin killing the shit of any Templar that moves should be damned near perfect no matter how mixed its execution, but there you go.
Assassin's Creed III, however, is looking really interesting. Though, that could just be because whenever I see some gameplay, the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack starts playing in my skull.
So here's a trailer based around a walkthrough of Boston that was shown at this year's E3. You get to see how the urban environments of the New World look, as well as see a whole mess of the game's protagonist, Connor, killing anything with a red uniform.
Sucks to be British in 1773...
