The Explay Crystal looks really cool, offering a transparent screen much like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness – but with the addition of a colour display. But before you start getting excited about augmented reality, note that the Explay Crystal is less smartphone and more dumbphone by modern standards – that transparent screen is very pretty, though.
The Explay Crystal manages to pack in Bluetooth 3.0 and dual SIM slots to help it keep up with modern mobiles. But unlike modern phones this one lets you check your texts while you're walking along the street, without the risk of falling down an open manhole. And at just 7,000 rubles (AUD$220), it might just be worth importing it after its July 1st release.
