We reported earlier that a brave soul in Brisbane was attempting to play Diablo III for in excess of 109 hours consecutively, in order to raise money for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. This was due to start today, but fell apart as the star of the show realised that his sickness earlier in the day was more than just mere nerves.
To prevent getting too ill, the marathon has been postponed until further notice. The gamer, who goes by the name Hzrd, left the following message which has since been circulating around the official Twitch.tv steam chat room:
Hzrdirl: As much as I want to just struggle on.. if I do.. I'll end up on the floor 2 hours from now with a fever
We wish Hzrd the best of luck, and hope that he'll feel up to the challenge soon. A gaming session like this is enough to bring any person to their knees, sans illness.
