Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 11th-15th in San Francisco.
The conference, which is aimed squarely at developers, will focus on the future of iOS and OS X – although it's unclear as to whether or not iOS 6 will make an appearance in one way or another.
Then, of course, there's the possibility that Apple might take the wraps off its upcoming iPhone 5. Although the most recent iPhone, the iPhone 4S, was launched in October, the iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4 were all launched at Apple's previous WWDC events in June.
Could the tech giant return to its iPhone launch tradition and surprise us all with a spectacular iPhone 5 reveal? It certainly would put the pressure back on Samsung, whose Galaxy S III flagship smartphone is tipped to launch next week. Looks like we'll just have to circle our calendars and count down the days till June 11th to find out...
