Samsung releases sheep laden Galaxy trailer, leaked benchmarks

A countdown on one of Samsung's teaser sites concludes with the release of... more teasers!

If there's one thing that Samsung's mobile division have achieved, it's their new found ability to invoke hype around their flagship products. The Samsung Galaxy S III has a massive following behind it, and no one knows for sure what the product actually looks like. Rumours and leaks have spread across the Internet, some more feasible than others, but we're still at a loss as to what the final product is. Samsung's lips are tightly shut, making it very difficult to tell what they're up to.

That didn't stop Samsung giving people's hopes up with a countdown timer on their tgeltaayehxnx teaser site. The site's link was a hint from Samsung Mobile's cryptic Twitter message earlier in the day. The result? Two videos which reveal nothing but a Mass Effect soundtrack and a subtle stab at iDevice users.

However today wasn't all disappointment - benchmarks of the GT-I9300 were found on GLBenchmark and screenshots were taken before removal. It indicates that the SoC is indeed the Exynos 4412 with an 'overclocked' Mali-400, and that the overclock achieves a significant boost in performance, putting it ahead of all current smartphones.
