Samsung unveils new NX camera range

Meet the NX20, NX210 and NX1000, the latest soldiers in Samsung’s compact portable camera army

Samsung has announced its new range of NX compact system cameras comprising the NX20, NX210 and NX1000. So what makes these better than the award winning original NX200, NX100 and NX11?

The new NX snappers give you complete Wi-Fi connectivity allowing instant sharing via email or social networks like Facebook. It also means sharing directly to Samsung mobiles and tablets using Mobile Link, or internet enabled TVs using the TV Link.

The cameras themselves all boast 20.3MP APS-C CMOS sensors with ISO 100-12800 meaning low noise and clarity even in low light conditions. They also all manage 1080p H.264 stereo video so you can ditch you camcorder once and for all.

The NX20 (the DSLR looking model in the middle pic below) sports an i-Function 2.0 lens system, which allows for professional controls over various functions with the touch of button – this works on all nine of the varing sized lenses in the range. It also rocks a 3in AMOLED swivel screen that delivers a VGA (impressive on such a small display) quality picture.

The NX210 is much the same as the NX200 and sports a premium metal finish. While the NX1000 is the most compact of the three and comes in white, black or pink.
