There's a lot of complaining about game prices, but it also means plenty of opportunities to pickup a bargain.
One of the interesting examples is Mass Effect 3, partly due to its non-availability via PC gamers' platform of choice, Steam.
As is usually the case, overseas prices show a big difference between what you'll pay locally, and on sites like Ozgameshop.com, which is offering Mass Effect 3 for $38.99. You'll have to wait a bit for it to arrive, but it's cheaper than downloading it from the Origin service, where it costs $79.99.
Out of curiosity we checked the Harvey Norman direct import site, which seems to be offering some PC titles now. Here it's $45, plus $3.95 delivery charge. Harvey Norman states a delivery time of 14-21 business days from the UK.
Over at EB Games the price seems to have fallen - we could have sworn we spotted it for $88 yesterday. Today it's listed at $68.
