Pickup the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade DVD Family Pack for $148

Pickup the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade DVD Family Pack for $148

Cheaper than retail. If you haven't made the switch yet, you can pickup this 3-user version on sale.

We shudder at the thought that any of you are still plugging away with Vista, but for those that are, here's a good way of getting Windows 7 installed on 3 laptops or PCs at a discount.

Back when Windows 7 went on sale, one of the questions in Australia was when and if we'd get a Family Pack offer, which includes 3 user licenses at a cheaper price than forking out for the box 3 times.

That pack is still around, and over at Harris Technology they're currently listing it for $148 - not bad considering a quick search shows it's over $200 on some other major sites. It's advertised on the Microsoft site for $249RRP and for $237 on the Dick Smith site. The single user version upgrade alone is $198 at Dick Smith.

As always, check those terms and conditions, and Harris says stocks are limited (191 when we last checked). But if you can get in, you'll save a few dollars.
