There's something special about great gaming music. Movie soundtracks are one thing (and an awesome thing at that!), but what's great about the soundtrack to a great game is the fact that it's scoring not some random actor, but YOU.
And hearing it live can be real treat.
Next week, on the 12th of April, Melbourne folks have a chance to attend Video Games Unplugged: Symphony of Legends, where they can hear music from some of the biggest games of all time, played by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. There'll be selections from BioShock2, Skyrim, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy VII and many more.
Plus, there'll be appearances by artists and musicians who worked on the original tracks, epic visuals, and even Wil Wheaton - Wesley motherfucking Crusher! Plus Scott Kurtz and Kris Straub, from numerous online comics. WIL WHEATON!
