Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich coming to Samsung Galaxy S II on March 15th

Finally, the wait is nearly over for Galaxy S II fans hungering for Ice Cream Sandwich.

Samsung Galaxy S II owners can finally celebrate the arrival of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on their smartphones with the news that the OS upgrade will be arriving on March 15th.

According to Samsung Israel’s Facebook page the update will roll out on March 15th and be available to download over the air.

Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, this will be the first Samsung mobile to get the ICS update. We’re hoping for a local release at the same time. Fingers crossed.
