LG's Optimus 4X HD has only just been announced ahead of MWC 2012 next week and already Telefonino have got their mitts on a handset. Luckily for us, they're not ones to keep a good thing to themselves so they posted this vid up on YouTube.
First up, that 4.7in 1280x720 screen looks sharp and attractive as the reviewer skips through pages of apps.
The LG Optimus 4X HD's skinned version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich also looks impressive. You get new LG-specific widgets and a stylish circular unlock that's different enough from the standard ICS screen and Apple's slide to unlock but still looks quick and simple.
Browsing is also speedy, thanks to the Optimus 4X HD's 1.5GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor. But it's not all good news – as one eagle-eyed YouTube commenter pointed out that in the three minute video, the handset's battery dropped by as many percentage points. Surely that can't be right?
Back to MWC 2012 rolling coverage.
