The Toshiba AT200 is the world’s thinnest tablet, and it’s out February 15

Like a diamond in the rough, the super slim tablet is now available, quietly going up for pre-order online.

Shout it from the hills, the world’s thinnest tablet – the Toshiba AT200 – is out February 15, and nobody’s talking about it.

We’re excited, not only because of its lithe 7.7mm thin form, brushed metal back and 10.1in screen. But we're also excited by the AT200's 1.2GHz dual-core processor and expandable 32GB storage. Plus it will be armed with Android 4.0 in the near future (ships with Android 3.2 for now).

Sure, the AT200's battery only delivers enough charge for 8 hours – but with a USB port, microSD expansion, a micro HDMI, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Flash 10.3 compatibility, it’s a connectivity powerhouse.

With prices starting at $579, it’s not particularly cheap, but with the promise of Ice Cream Sandwich, this super slim slate is certainly a tempting prospect.
