The BlackBerry London first leaked late last year – but now a new render's turned up showing a very different-looking phone.
Where last year's leaked London was clearly influenced by the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981, the latest renders, leaked from a RIM presentation slide by CrackBerry, show a phone that's more influenced by the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Looks aren't the only thing the London will have in common with RIM's tablet. Like the PlayBook, the London will run BlackBerry's new BBX OS. And BBX should whiz along on the London's rumoured 1.5GHz processor.
RIM's been having a fairly torrid time of it recently, with PlayBook price slashes and the resignation of its CEOs. Its 2012 BlackBerry and PlayBook 2 launches are vitally important for the company's future – not surprisingly, it's clearly taking care over the design of its new flagship BlackBerry smartphone.
