Tech deals: Save up to 40% on HP, Toshiba and Apple laptops from Kogan Technologies

Kogan has added a suite of discounted tech products to its online store, including the iPhone 4S and Apple MacBook Air.

Kogan has added a new range of big brand laptops to its web site at discounted prices, along with new Apple MacBooks and the iPhone 4S.

The inclusion of brand name products on the Kogan website marks the next phase in the company's business model, with the first batch making its appearance in late 2011.

“We only source the products we know our customers want, and will continue doing this throughout 2012,” Kogan Technologies founder and CEO Ruslan Kogan said. "The new products joining our range are exactly what Australian online shoppers have been asking for."

Some of the new laptop deals include a HP 15.6in ProBook 4530s with an Intel Core i5-2430M (2.4/3.0 GHz, 3MB Cache) CPU and 4GB of RAM for $589 (RRP: $1099), a Toshiba 14in Satellite L740 laptop with a 2.1GHz Intel Core i3 CPU and 2GB of RAM for $569 (RRP: $814) and a HP 15.6in 630 laptop with an i3-2330m (2.2GHz, 3MB Cache) and 4GB RAM for $569 (RRP: $769).

According to Kogan, all products are backed by local support and warranty.

Kogan is also offering discounted Apple products, albeit at less impressive prices. The 16GB iPhone 4S is listed at $739, which is $60 off the current RRP. The 11in Apple MacBook Air with 64GB SSD is $979: a saving of $129.  Both deals include a 12-month global Apple warranty. Kogan claims you can go into an Apple store if your product runs into any problems.

I think Kogan just nailed the coffin on the head on why Apple is successfull.

Will you please stop re-printing marketing press releases and calling it news? Or is Kogan a regular advertiser that needs some favorable press?

Sick of seeing Kogan's self serving pronouncements reported as 'news'.

If his customers are demanding Toshiba and Apple, does that mean they are sick of his Chinese cheap crap products?
