Fallout: New Vegas was very possibly one of the great water-cooler games of all time, at least in the Haymarket offices. Each morning, myself, Nic Healey and John Gillooly would compare notes on our progression in the game - who we'd met and/or killed, what companion we were liking the most (or, in my case, had managed to keep alive more than five minutes), and the general flow of the game. One of the great things about New Vegas was how each description we had sounded like a completely different title, the story was that good.
We can only figure that it's going to be even better in the Ultimate Edition, announced today, and due at retail on the 9th of February.
This version contains everything. It's got the Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road add-on packs, and all the gear from Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal. And, of course, the full game itself.
Here, have a trailer, too.
