The Asus Transformer Prime, the next evolution from the Eee Pad Transformer, is super fast. The slither of shiny silver has cropped up online, according to Tech2, in a speed test that shows the Nvidia quad-core Tegra 3 Kal-El processor standing head-shoulders-and-top-hat above all other Android devices.
As you can see from the results below it was clocked at a stonking 1.4GHz. Not only is its CPU making the other devices look like Spectrum ZX brethren, but it is also said to have double the RAM of the Galaxy Nexus – a full 2GB.
With an Android Ice Cream Sandwich update confirmed, a slim keyboard, HD screen and blistering speeds all expected, we’re saving our pennies for the Asus Transformer Prime release that might be as soon as November 9.
