Next Big Thing: Lotus Glass

Next Big Thing: Lotus Glass

Gorilla Glass is still scratch-free and already it has an upgraded version incoming from Corning.

From Corning – the company that brought us Gorilla Glass – comes Lotus Glass, its tougher offspring. LCD and OLED mobiles of the future will be kitted out with a near scratchproof glass.

The Lotus Glass is designed to use less power, provide higher resolutions and have faster response times than anything made at the moment. (Goodbye Gorilla Glass, already.)

For once the wait time on a newly announced product isn’t ridiculous. The glass is already in production so keep your eyes peeled for eye-wateringly tough phones in the very near future.
