iPhone 5 to come with 16GB or 32GB storage options

iPhone 5 to come with 16GB or 32GB storage options

Leaked online specs show familiar capacities and colours for Apple’s next-gen mobile device.

A ‘compatible phones’ page for Vodafone’s UK website has tantalisingly listed a number of iPhone 5 colour and model options. Although now rectified, the page clearly showed both 16GB and 32GB iPhone 5 models, both of which were available in either black or white.

These specifications fall directly in line with previous iPhone model options but users with larger music libraries may nontheless be disappointed in the lack of a 64/128GB option, although nothing will be certain until the coveted device is whipped out on stage sometime in the very near future.

Is the antenna still nice and close to the brain?
More TTP, I hope it works properly now.

Big A said Galaxy phones were 'too big'.
Interesting to see what size this is when it arrives.

They wouldn't want to eat into the touch or classic markets. A 64gb+ phone would do that.

While I don't have, I have staff and friends with iPhones. They work just fine, no antenna issues. As for close to brain, we're talking mm's across different brands.

I'd say it works properly already, except in the minds of..

I'm waiting to see what's released, then decision time on iPhone or Samsung.

Won't go HTC, staff/friends with them all hate them, besides, HTC's trying to stifle innovation with their endless suits against Apple - can't support a company that does that!!!!\:d/

Wait, Google's supplying the ammo there - perhaps shouldn't support any Android.... There goes the Samsung...

No, not being a fanatic, will evaluate the Samsung alongside the iPhone.

Well, THAT'S a reversal ... Apple is pretocting its "genuius" by stupid Lawsuits and HTS is stifling innovation by doing that????? Well done fan boy ...

I agree that HTS may be stifling innovation.

At least it isn't on stupid grounds like size and shape 'similarities' - sometimes with disHONESTly manipuilated images to 'help' the court.

I'll second that. I only hung onto mine because it had all my data on it.

The decision was finally taken out of my hands when it finally refused to even boot up 2 weeks ago.

Good riddance, won't go there again, ever.

Well, patents are supposed to encourage innovation, but their proliferation anf the flimst grounds that some seem to be given on DO seem to stifle inovation. I'd say you KNOW how much it costs to secure a patent better than I do, but I doubt I could afford it if I invented something without selling my ar*e to some conglomerate ...

Samsung have quad core units coming and even a 5.5" screen version. My partner will find such a thing useful as a tab's a bit - er BIG :)

It never *&^&*(^ stops! I just settled on a Galaxy - probably 10 times what I will ever use - but I can write a util here and there to customise it - and amuse myself :) Who knows maybe I will rise to be a 99c APP vendor :)

It costs bugger all to get a patent.

The Aus system is particularly good with two options:

Innovation patent, when you make an advance on already known tech, costs $150 to file on line, protects for 8 years. No examination, takes about a month.

Standard patent for invention of new tech. $340 On Line and protects for 20 Yrs (25 Pharm.) however does require full examination which takes time.

With the Innovation patent, it can be challenged after it is given by anyone who can call for examination, per a normal patent App. The examination fee of $400 is split between the patent holder and the challenger.

The idea, if you think you have thought of something new, patent it immediately and get some cover. anyone can afford a patent in Australia.

Once you have an Aussie patent, you can apply for coverage in important markets through WIPO (also on-line). As a holder of a patent, you apply for expedited review to prevent any overseas competitors copying, patenting and ripping you off.

Easy!:-"
