The reveal begins on Google’s future phone and tablet OS

Android Police has revealed the first shots of Google’s forthcoming Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich.

The new OS is seen running on a Google Nexus S (the phone of choice for Android devs) and gives away a number of new UI tweaks, including quite a bit of blueness and overhauled notification strap.

There’s a new launcher and app drawer, a panoramic camera mode and native Gmail UI reskin. That’s about all we know for now for now, but having crept out into the open, expect to see more delicious Ice Cream Sandwich news in the near future.
