While we’re still a little bitter that no-one could come up with either the budget or a good enough reason to send us to San Diego Comic-Con this year (or last year, or any year), we are grateful for the masses and masses of news that emerge from the event.
Such as this morning’s announcement by Warner Bros and DC Entertaiment that Batman: Arkham City’s Talia al Ghul would be voiced by Stana Katic – the actress behind Castle’s Kate Beckett, and one half of one of the TV crime-solving partnerships that everyone actually seems to love.
Katic seemed really excited about the experience, calling Talia a ‘complex character’ and saying she was ‘amazed at all the detail put into the project’ – things we like to hear about what is already one of the games we’re looking forward to most this year. The casting also seems to have influenced the character artists, and with Katic and her new alter-ego sharing a more-than-passing resemblance, which we don’t think anyone would be complaining about.
