Tech Deals: Get an Xbox 360, Kinect and three games for $299

Kmart is currently selling the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Console for $299 - with three Kinect games.

If you're looking for a console bundle that the whole family can enjoy, we've just spotted a deal at Kmart that looks too good to pass up.

The retail chain is selling its Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Console pack for just $299, with three Kinect games included - Kinect Sonic Free Riders, Kinect Adventures and Kinect Joy Ride. That's a saving of well over $200, though we note that the price excludes the cost of delivery.

By contrast, JB HiFi is currently offering the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Console for $399, with one game (Kinect Adventures). The Kinect sensor by itself has an RRP of $199.

The deal appears to be nationwide and you can also order the bundle online. All three games in the Kmart pack are kid-friendly and can be used with the Kinect - a motion-sensing peripheral that uses the player's body movements to control the game.
