We see a lot of impressive sounding tech deals, including one we heard about today on the Stardeals site.
Jump onto the Stardeals site today you'll see they are offering an ASUS 15.6in laptop (K52F-SX134V) from Digital Star for $599. According to the site that's an impressive saving of $428.
The deal isn't one to sniff at. This is a Core i3 laptop, not one of the Pentium machines we've sometimes seen advertised at these prices, though it's not the newest generation Intel chip. The site promises 3GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, a "durable laptop travel bag", and nationwide delivery. However, a quick scout around turned up something even more impressive: A laptop that not only has Intel's 2nd generation Core chip onboard, but a Core i7 model at that. The HP DV6 is being advertised on the Grays Online site for $619, which strikes us a very good value. The DV6 has 4GB RAM, 640GB HDD, and according to the Grays site, was "re-worked" with a new Intel motherboard due to a recall, but not used or previously sold to customers (though may have been on display).
