EASEUS Todo Backup offers complete set of backup tools for free

EASEUS has decided to give away the commercial Home edition of its EASEUS Todo Backup for free, replacing the previous function-limited free edition with a fully featured backup tool.

EASEUS Todo Backup Free now provides both file- and image-based backup functionality in one program, allowing users to back up selected files and file types alongside entire partitions and hard drives. It also includes partition and drive-cloning tools for upgrading hard drives, as well as a WinPE-based rescue disc for access to the program outside of Windows.

EASEUS Todo Backup Free allows users to make both full and incremental backups, and features a built-in scheduler allowing backups to be processed automatically in the background. It also features both partition and disk cloning tools, which make it easy to upgrade or transfer the contents of one hard disk to another.

Thanks to the presence of both Linux and WinPE-based recovery media, which are created within the program itself using appropriate blank media, EASEUS Todo Backup Free also provides a complete disaster recovery environment, allowing users to recover their system and backups even if Windows itself is no longer capable of loading. There is also a “universal restore” option that makes it possible to restore or deploy a system image to different computers, even those running with different hardware configurations.

EASEUS To Do Backup Free 2.5.1 is available as a free download for PCs running Windows 2000, XP , Vista or 7. Paid-for editions are also available, offering additional features such as a system snapshot tool and pre-OS recovery environment for system testers.
