The Libretto W100 features two 7in screens and looks like a Nintendo DSi XL. It packs a 1,024 x 600 resolution and full multi-touch capabilities.
The 840g device is powered by a UL5400 Intel processor, with a 62GB solid state drive (SSD), 2GB DDR3 Ram, a webcam, SSD integration and optional 3G. It runs on Windows 7 Home Premium.
The W100 also comes with a new file browser, and a Bulletin Board feature which allows users to drag and drop text and pictures into a notepad-like area.
Tony Alderson, product manager for consumer laptops at Toshiba UK, claimed that the W100 will provide a full Windows experience on the move, and demonstrated the device's ability to run different applications on the screens simultaneously.
At this stage there are no announced details of Australian pricing and availability for the Libretto W100.
Toshiba also announced the Portégé R700 and AC100 devices. The R700 is touted as Europe's thinnest, lightest, full performance business laptop. The 13in model weighs 1.3Kg, is 20mm thick and supports Intel's latest i3, i5 and i7 chipsets. Toshiba claimed nine hours of battery life on a single charge.
Ken Chan, senior product manager of business laptops at Toshiba UK, explained that a new airflow cooling system is fundamental to the product. Unlike traditional laptop cooling systems, the R700 does not blow out hot air.
Instead the laptop has a smaller motherboard and sucks in cool air. It means that external areas of the laptop such as the keyboard and the base remain cool.
Toshiba said that the R700 will be available in early-July with prices starting at around $2170.
The final product on display was the AC100 mobile internet device. Although it boasts a full keyboard, Toshiba was keen to state that the device is not a smartphone or a netbook.
The AC100 comes with Android 2.1, Nvidia Tegra 250 mobile processor (1GHz, ARM), 512MB DDR2 RAM, 8GB Flash storage and a 10.1in TruBrite display with LED backlight with 1,024 x 600 resolution.
No official price has been released for the AC100.
