Thermaltake's Tt eSPORTS range of peripherals shaping up

Thermaltake's Tt eSPORTS range of peripherals shaping up

We look at a bunch of products that claim to "Dry your hand sweats and blow the tension away!"

Hand sweats. We all get them. No-one seems to know what to do about them. They are a massive problem that threatens the very fabric of society. That is, until now.

Thermaltake, previously a manufacturer of cases, cooling gear and power supplies, are branching out into the sweat removal space - with a whole range of dedicated gaming peripherals launching very soon.

They swung around to visit us yesterday and dropped off their Challenger and Challenger Pro keyboards, both gaming-oriented products that are surprisingly solid and each come with a novel way to fight moistened hands: a fan.

This teensy-tiny fan is powered by a 5V connector (through the USB bus), and pushes a small CFM of 2.7 at a low noise. How it performs in reality will have to wait for a full review in the mag, but it sure looks neat!

The Challenger Pro also offers ten macro keys for up to 40 different recordable actions that can be stored within the 64KB of onboard memory, a 2-port USB hub, red LED lighting and a couple of multimedia keys to boot.

Also on show is the Tt eSPORTS Black, a gaming mouse that offers a Philips dual-laser sensor with resolutions of 800/1600/3200/4000, red lighting and a bunch of weights.

Thermaltake are jumping into the deep end with this new range of gaming gear, so jump into our gallery of pics to have a look at what they're offering and keep your eyes peeled and hands sweating for our full - and final - verdict.
