Asus has pulled the covers off three new additions to the Eee PC family at CeBit this year.
First up is the next in the line up of the Eee PC Seashells, the Eee PC 1015. This update brings with it a removable battery, similar to the 1005-HA model, and a battery life of up to 14 hours.
You can also expect a new extra-slick exterior thanks to a screw-less design, a new, larger touchpad and a choice of new colours.
Next in the new line-up is the Eee PC Prime 1018P, one of the thinnest Eee PCs Asus has ever made at 18mm thick. It packs a frameless 10.1-inch LED-backlit display, USB 3.0 for fast data transfers and fingerprint reader, all in an aluminium shell.
Finally there is the lower-specced Eee PC Diary 1016P, which also promises an aluminium shall and long-lasting battery, but the rest of the specs are currently low on the ground.
We’re waiting for more detailed specs on all three models, as well as pricing and release date details – we’ll bring them to you as soon as we get them.
