All I want for Christmas...Apple slapping on the discount stickers this Friday

If you're looking to buy an Apple product then this Friday is your lucky day, with Apple planning a "Black Friday" discount frenzy.

If you're about to click the purchase button on a new Macbook Pro or iPod, it might be a good idea to hold off for 24 hours. Apple is telling customers to visit their online store tomorrow (Friday 27th), for a special "one-day Apple shopping event".

The big brand is staying true to form and revealing absolutely nothing about which products will be discounted, so you'll just have to check in and find out for yourself on Friday.

That said, our fingers are crossed that cheap deals will apply to Apple's Macbook Pro 13, which is a masterpiece of design. Also whetting our appetite is the revamped Mac Mini, and of course the iPhone 3GS.

Fingers crossed then. You can visit Apple's online store here.
