Amazing Apps for your iPhone: Christmas Apps

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas on your iPhone. Here's seven great Christmas-themed apps

Christmas is a time for giving, getting, mass consumerism and in these sun-drenched shores, precious little actual snow. Just because the weather outside is blazing, however, there's no reason why you can't celebrate a northern hemisphere style White Christmas. All it takes is a few select Apps to turn your iPhone into your SnowPhone.

Sleeps To Christmas Lite
Sleeps To Christmas Lite/Sleeps To Christmas Premium
(Free/$1.19) give you a Santa-themed countdown clock with a choice of jolly Christmas themes playing endlessly in the background. The free App is ad-supported, while the $1.19 version omits ads and gives you an optional Christmas Angel holding the clock placard.

Christmas List
So, you've sorted out exactly when Christmas is... but have you bought presents for everybody? Christmas List ($3.99) gives you a simple interface to track what presents you have, for whom, and what state of preparation they're in.

Christmas
When out doing Christmas shopping we've never found there's a lack of predictable holiday themes playing on a seemingly endless loop. If you're not shopping in that kind of store, or just want even more holiday "cheer", then Christmas ($1.19) might be to your liking. It's a collection of Christmas songs in various styles.

Deck The Holidays
The sunny Summer climate in Australia doesn't make for an ideal setting for Christmas lights, but that doesn't stop too many people. Decorate your iPhone for Christmas (or any other festival) with Deck The Holidays  ($1.19), an animated set of festive lights.

Christmas Lights
Want some simple Christmas-themed gaming fun? Christmas Lights (Free) presents you with all the frustration of connecting up fairy light fuses in a rotating puzzle game, while Fuzzle Christmas (Free) is just regular old puzzle game Fuzzle with a Christmas makeover

Shotgun Santa
If the whole Christmas presents caper leaves you feeling a bit more bah humbug and a bit less "goodwill to all men", then perhaps Shotgun Santa ($1.19) is more your style. See off wave after repetitive wave of Zombie elves as Santa seeks to protect the presents, not to mention his own chubby backside.
